JS Gilbreath opened Star bottle works on Blake Street in downtown Denver in 1889 with his sons. When he retired his son moved the business behind his home on 3029 Race Street. What became Gilbreath bottling remained here till his death. The original boiler is still in the factory and bottles have been found buried at the property.
